Situated in the middle of a level field west of Barochreal farmhouse, there is a roughly circular grass-grown cairn measuring 9.8 metres in average diameter and 1.7 metres in height. It appears to have been kerbed by a series of massive boulders, several of which survive in situ on the perimeter of the south half, the largest measuring 1.1 by 0.5 metres and protruding 0.8 metres above ground level.
