Archaeology Notes

NM15SE 6 160 538.

Three bronze two-edged swords, in a good state of preservation are reported to have been found by workmen cutting drains near Coll Castle (Breachacha Castle NM 1600 5389). Two of the blades were broken by the workmens' implements. (This find must be separate from NM15SE 3, which was found c. 1875, but they may have come from the same area).

The Antiquary 1905.
