(NL 9782 4688) The chapel of Kilbride, dedicated to St Brigid of Magh-Luing, is locally said to have stood in its burial ground on the site of the stackyard of 'Lag na Cruach' - 'the Hollow of the Heaps' - about 1/4-mile S of the corn-mill (NL 9778 4724) in Cornaigmore and about the same distance east of Loch Bhasapol.
According to Reeves 'It is on the north side of the farm of Cornaigmore and human remains which are found here indicate a cemetery where a small chapel is known to have existed, the walls of which were removed to help in building some ancient cabins'. (W Reeves 1854)
Rock crops out within the stackyard and in its centre lies a hollowed stone about 2' long which may be a font or a 'knocking-stone'. The dedication suggests an association with the monastery of Magh-Luinge (NL94NE 5).

NL 978 468. Chapel and Burial-ground, Cornaigmore (Site): There are no visible remains of the chapel and burial-ground which are said (by W Reeves 1854 and E Beveridge 1903) to have been situated at Lag nan Cruach, Cornaigmore. An area of level ground in the SW corner of the former stackyard may represent the site of the burial-ground. The dedication was evidently to St Bridget.
