A small group of anti-tank blocks or pimples situated in the dunes at Rattray Head is visible on post-war vertical air photographs (RAF 106G/Scot/UK 135, 1001-1002, flown 30 June 1946). The blocks trend in a NE to SW direction for about 30m and are arranged in two rows of four and one row of three. The group is E and forward of the anti-tank ditch. It is not known whether these blocks survive.
