The location assigned to this record is essentially arbitrary. Cluny Harbour is not noted as such on the current edition of the OS 1:50,000 map, but may be equated with that depicted at NJ 034 656 and noted as West Haven.

Cairnbulg village (NK06NW 7) is centred at NK 042 651.

The loss of this vessel is not cited by Whittaker.
