NK02NW 27 010 252

'Large quantity of worked flint including cores and a scatter of very small pieces. Appears to be an in situ knapping floor. Sits on a patch of old beach revealed by the movement of sand.'

Field Visit (October 2022)

NK 01002 25196 Visited during fieldwork by SCAPE. This is an area of open sand dunes in the Forvie National Nature Reserve. The sands contain numerous examples of worked flints. A concentration of flint scatter was noted approximately 100 m south of this record. This is an area of open sand dunes in the Forvie National Nature Reserve.
