A rugged leaning, granite monolith, measuring about 5'6" in height and 7' in basal girth.

Supposed to be either the remains of a stone circle or boundary stones of the ancient thanedom of Buchan (A Rankin, Episcopal minister, Old Deer).

Name Book 1870

A standing stone, as described by Coles.
