Castle park wall and deer dykes, c.1715: the park was a grand 400 by 300 yards enclosed by a rubble-built wall. The east gate has alternately fluted and rusticated gatepiers topped by ball finials, and the south gate (Castle Road) has square piers with angle rustication and ball caps, flanked by much repaired footgates. Much rebuilt, 1850s.
