Location formerly entered as NJ 9021 3521.
For surrounding rig and cultivation remains (centred NJ 902 353), see NJ93NW 30.
At NJ 9021 3521 is an oval stone-walled hut measuring 13.5m NNW-SSE by 12.0m transversely between the centres of a wall spread to about 3.0m. The interior has recent field clearance piled inside it and the ill-defined entrance in the SSE is also choked with rubble. The hut is surrounded by rig and furrow cultivation (NJ93NBW 30) which has destroyed most evidence of contemporary cultivation except a few stone clearance heaps about 100m to the S.
Surveyed at 1/2500.
Visited by OS (I S S) 1 March 1973.
This monument is situated in an area of grassland and heather scrub at an altitude of about 50m OD.
