Archaeology Notes

NJ91SE 4 centred 9623 1487

For surrounding rifle ranges, see NJ91NE 22.00.

An area of rig about 100m square in extent is situated on Blackdog Rifle Ranges (NJ91NE 22). The rig is aligned E and W, and may be distinguished on vertical aerial photographs (OS 88/272/008) from the larger plot (NJ91NE 16) about 100m to the N. The rig could not be examined on the date of visit because the ranges were in use.

Information from RCAHMS (JRS), 17 April 1996.
