Before the Reformation there was a Roman Catholic 'Chappel at Boggs'( )... The farmhouse of Boggs was removed 'some years ago' but the site of the chapel is well-known. The graveyard was dug up about 1836.

Name Book 1866.

There is no trace of a chapel at the site.

Visited by OS (EGC) 17 October 1961.

Nothing is visible of a chapel which stood in an arable field 420m ENE of Hatton of Millden farmstead (NJ91NE 55). The reported site lies on a low ridge flanked on the S by the Millden Burn, and on the NE by an unnamed stream.
