(Location cited as NJ 962 152). Area of rig and furrow, visible on air photographs AAS/93/15/G30/19-20, flown 11 November 1993. Copies held by Grampian Regional Council.

M Greig 1994; NMRS MS/712/6.

This area of rig, measuring approximately 150m square (2.25ha) and aligned roughly E and W, is situated close to the rifle ranges at Blackdog Links (NJ91NE 22.00). The rig could not be examined on the date of visit because the ranges were in use, but it is clear from oblique air photography (AAS/94/15/G30/19) that the rig lies further S than previously reported, being centred around NJ 9625 1510.

A second, smaller, area of rig (NJ91SE 4) is situated about 100m to the S.

Information from RCAHMS (JRS) 17 April 1996.
