There are three reconstructed cists on the E side of a pond 250m SW of Banchory House. One came from Cotbank, near Ardoe, NJ80SE 28 and the other two were found at Clashfarquhar in 1817 and 1822 respectively, NO99NW 13. There is no other evidence for a cist having been found in the vicinity of Banchory House.
