NJ90NE 7.03 9639 0609

(Aberdeen 1: location cited as NJ 963 062). At end of N breakwater: dated 1865. An octagonal iron tower with triangular-paned lantern, and plain railed gallery with perforated floor on cast-iron brackets. Fog bell on S side. Above door, a plaque 'Sir Alexander Anderson Knt, Lord Provost, Patrick Cooper Esq, Master of Shore Works MDCCCLXV'.
