This boundary stone is situated on the left (E) bank of the River Don about 200m WNW of Grandhome House (NJ81SE 36). The stone has been positioned 2m from the water's edge, on the line of an old dyke. Rectangular in section, it is a dressed granite block measuring 0.3m by 0.17m and 0.3m in height. On the W face of the stone there is an incised letter P, and on the E face the letters BH; on the flat top there is an incised number 3, through which a line has been incised on the long axis of the stone.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS, ATW), 20 March 1997.
