(Locations cited as NJ 8984 1135 and 8990 1141). Two nearly-identical stones are situated, 70m apart, at the ends of the coursed-stone granite S wall of the enclosure that forms OS parcel no. 447. That to the W (at NJ 8984 1135) measures stands 600mm high and measures 300mm in width by 180mm in thickness; it bears a '10' on the top, a 'P' on the W face and a 'BH' on the E, all these characters being seraphed. That to the E (at NJ 8990 1141) is identical in size and form; it is numbered '11' with the 'P' to the E and the 'BH' to the W.

(Locations amended to NJ 8989 1140 and 8983 1134). This boundary stone has been built into the top of a stone wall at the E corner of a field about 320m SSE of Grandhome House (NJ81SE 36). Rectangular in section, it is a dressed granite block measuring 0.3m by 0.16m and 0.24m in height. On the WSW face of the stone there are the incised initials BH, and on the ENE face the letter P; on the flat top of the stone there is the number 11. This stone is depicted on both the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map (Aberdeenshire, 1869, sheet lxvi; 1902, sheet lxvi.SW).
A second boundary stone has been set into the field wall about 90m SW of the first. It, too, is a dressed granite block of rectangular section, and it measures 0.3m by 0.16m and 0.5m in height. On the SW face of the stone there are the incised initials BH, and on the NE face the letter P; on the flat top of the stone there is the number 10.
