All that remains of the 'Druidical Circle' that stood on the estate of Auchinclech is a large rough slab of granite, about 6 feet high. The present owner removed several of the stones.

Name Book 1864

The standing stone, is 1.5m high by 0.9m x 0.5m. No markings were seen on the stone which leans to the S.

Visited by OS (WDJ) 31 October 1961.

(Name cited as Auchinclech).

NMRS, MS/712/74.

This standing stone, which stood in a cultivated field 390m SE of Auchinclech farmsteading (NJ80NW 104), has been removed since last being visited by the Ordnance Survey in 1961. The present owner's wife, who has been at the farm for a number of years, has no knowledge of the stone.
