H A Vallance 1991.

This decktype bridge is of steel and masonry construction. It dates from 1880 and carries the (Aberdeen - Inverurie) main line of the (former) Great North of Scotland Railway over the River Don (to the N) and the Aberdeen - Inverurie Canal (to the S). It crosses the boundary between Kintore and Inverurie parishes.

Information from RCAHMS (RJCM) 5 December 1994.
