OS 6" map, Aberdeenshire, 2nd ed., (1902)

The site of the old castle which is supposed to have been built in 1500 is near the mansion house of Cobairdy.

Name Book 1871.

No trace of the castle is to be seen, and no further information was obtained during the course of field investigation.

Visited by OS (EGC) 2 October 1961.
