NJ51NE 53 5813 1705

This is a comparatively modern well that was not visited by RCAHMS during the Strath Don Survey.

Information from RCAHMS (JRS), 27 June 2003.

(Location cited as NJ 5814 1703). An old well was found in the grounds of Haughton Country Park. It was associated with the old Haughton House [presumably NJ51NE 111.00 at cited location NJ 58309 16908]. The cited location falls on a terrace at an altitude of 135m OD.
