Traditionally Macbeth refreshed himself from this well, when passing from the Grampians to Lumphanan shortly before his death.
Name Book.
There is now no trace of Macbeth's Well, one of two similarly named in the area (See also NJ50SE 6).
No local information regarding tradition.
