(Location cited as NJ 430 517). Keith Junction Station, opened 1858 by the Inverness and Aberdeen Junction and Great North of Scotland Rlys. Formerly a four-platform through station and terminal station with two-bay platforms at the west end. These and the Highland Rly. platform, had substantial awnings supported on cast-iron columns, now removed. The offices are in a 1- abd 2-storey rubble range.
There are two goods sheds, one with round-headed windows and elliptical-arched doors, and the other a larger and simpler structure.

This intermediate station on the Aberdeen-Inverness main line of the former Great North of Scotland Rly. (grouped into the London and North Eastern Rly.) was situated at its end-on junction with the Highland Rly. (grouped into the London Midland and Scottish Rly.). It also formed the junction for the GNoSR Speyside branch (to Craigellachie and Boat of Garten), and thus for Keith (Town) Station (NJ45SW 26), and remains in regular use by passenger traffic as Keith Station.
