OS 6-inch map, 1959.

This well (situated some 130m E of the remains of the church of the suppressed parish of Botarie), was dedicated to St Martin.

J R Walker 1883.

The well is an open drystone circular structure about 1m in diameter, now choked with stones.

Revised at 1:2500.

Visited by OS (ISS) 7 December 1972.

There is now no sign of the well and no local people spoken to knew of it.
