The long, walled garden has a simple single-storey Gothick summer house, a striking Tempietta, and elaborate gates with wrought-iron ball finials to piers. The 17th-century doocot is a square plan with rat course and crowstepped gables on all four elevations and a room with hearth below the doocot proper. The west gates are square rubble piers with broken pediment tops by A G R Mackenzie, c.1956, an amusing caprice.
