Accessing Scotland's Past Project

The grass-covered footings of a group of long rectangular buildings lie in a field about 500m north-west of Achdregnie steading. The do not appear on the 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey (1872), and had probably been long abandoned and reduced to their current state by that time. The nearby Milltown of Achdregnie, shown on the 1st edition as a single roofed building and three enclosures, may have replaced the earlier buildings in the course of agricultural improvements in the early nineteenth century.
