Accessing Scotland's Past Project

A stable range, built around 1800, lies a short distance to the north-east of Ballindalloch Castle. The architect was probably Thomas Ross.

The stables are built of grey rubble, with a slated roof. The central section contains three cartsheds, flanked by two sets of three stables.

The stables occupy the site of the former home farm, but it is not clear if the farm buildings were completely demolished, or merely renovated to form the stables.
