A possible WW II observation post is situated immediately above the high tide level on a section of coast that has no anti-tank blocks. The observation post and anti-tank blocks are visible on wartime oblique air photographs (RAF 241F, B18-B22, flown 26 February 1941). The structure is depicted on the OS digital 1:2500 scale map.
