Field Visit (26 March 2019)
This reservoir, which formed part of the camp introduced by the Army to sustain the battery during the Second World War, is situated 5m SSE of the Reserve Hut (NH86NW 9.99). It measures 4m square within cement-rendered brick walls 0.25m thick and 1.28m high. The wall on the ENE has collapsed, leaving one large fragment partly overlying the thick concrete floor.
The reservoir is depicted on two RAF aerial photographs (106G/RAF/0751/6039-40) flown on 31 August 1945.
Visited by HES, Survey and Recording (ATW, AKK), 26 March 2019.
