Activities

Field Visit (30 March 2019)

This building platform is situated in dune grassland 38m S of the U1456 public road and 9m ENE of another building platform (NH86NW 10.20). It is rectangular on plan and measures 11.4m from ENE to WSW by 4.9m transversely. Grass-grown banks that line its long sides largely obscure its edges. A concrete base is shown at this location on an aerial photograph (CPE/Scot/UK/0293 SFFO 0044) flown on 17 September 1947.

Visited by HES, Survey and Recording (ATW, AKK, KLG), 30 March 2019.
