Activities

Field Visit (28 March 2019)

This grass-grown weapons pit is situated in rough pasture 1.5m NNW of the remains of the E gun emplacement (NH86NW 10.9). It measures 3.5m from E to W by 2.75m transversely and 0.8m deep. It was evidently intended to offer some defence to the nearby gun emplacements.

Visited by HES, Survey and Recording (ATW, AKK, KLG), 28 March 2019.
