Activities

Field Visit (30 March 2019)

What may be a grass- and bracken-grown weapons pit or a firing trench is situated 7m E of a searchlight (NH86NW 10.3) overlooking the beach. It measures 3.8m from WNW to ESE by 2.6m transversely and was evidently intended to offer some defence to the searchlight.

Visited by HES, Survey and Recording (ATW, AKK, KLG), 30 March 2019.
