Activities

Field Visit (21 February 2020)

Three small pyramidical concrete blocks, each measuring about 0.45m square by 0.3m in height, are situated at the edge of the stony beach to the N of the site of the Searchlight Battery (NH86NW 339). It is possible that they were introduced to the Cromarty defences by the Admiralty in the First World War.

Visited by HES, Survey and Recording (ATW, AKK), 21 February 2020.
