Together with the footbridge NH64SE 368 (adjacent to the N), this bridge allows foot passage between the Ness Islands, and between the suspension bridges NH64SE 50 and NH64SE 51 which cross the two channels of the River Ness.

The location assigned to this record defines the midpoint of this structure, The available map evidence suggests that it extends from NH c. 66237 43651 to NH c. 66246 43647.
