Activities

Desk Based Assessment (June 2016)

These former distillery bonded warehouses (two by 21 bay block) have been converted to business use. These bonded warehouses served the Ferintosh Distillery depicted and named on the 1st edition 25-inch map (Rosshire, 1906, sheet 88.03) and also known as Ben Wyvis distillery (built 1879). The ruins of this distillery were noted by J R Hume in 1974 (see NH55NE 25.00).

Information from HES (Survey and Recording) (MMD), 16 June 2016.
