Shiel Bridge [NAT]

OS 1:10,000 map, 1971.

Not to be confused with predecessor Telford bridge (downstream, at NG 93549 18869), for which see NG91NW 11.

Location formerly entered as NG 9390 1873.

This bridge carries what is apparently the present line of the A87 public road over the River Shiel about 750m ESE of its debouchment into Loch Duich.

Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 10 May 2006.
