Activities

Field Visit (5 September 2019)

This badly cracked grass- and heather-grown concrete floor is terraced into a NE-facing slope 31m ENE of a light anti-aircraft emplacement (NG89SW 22) sited on the top of this knoll. It is rectangular on plan and measures 11.2m from NNW to SSE by 4.8m transversely. The edges of the floor are rebated for timber sill-beams and it is possible that there was a doorway at the NNW end, as it is approached by a path from this direction.

Visited by HES, Survey and Recording (ATW, AKK), 5 September 2019.
