On the lower slopes of Ben Scoval at a height of 90m OD are the remains of two stone-built long-houses, 13m by 6m, and 11.3m by 5m overall. The larger house has now been converted to a sheep-dipping complex. Information from J McDonald, A McNicol and J Robinson, 3 April 1989.

A farmstead, comprising two unroofed buildings, one of which is a two compartment L-shaped building, and an enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1881, sheet xx). Two unroofed structures and attached lengths of wall annotated as a sheep wash are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).

Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 22 October 1996.
