A brick and concrete surface air-raid shelter stands in a field on the E side of the B 892 road at Peighinn Lodain. There are the remains of other structures in the area of the shelter.

The air-raid shelter and remains of structures noted above are part of what was the main site of the radio station which is visible on vertical air photographs taken in 1946 (CPE/Scot/UK 191, 2369-2370, flown 10 October 1946).
Visible on the photographs are five lattice masts, four of which are located approximately at each corner of the former semi-square enclosure the installation stood within, with a fifth at the SW corner. Two huts can be seen, one is large with a pitched roof with one mast at the S end, the other, probably the air-raid shelter noted above, also has a mast adjacent to it.
