A small hutted accommodation camp is visible on vertical air photographs taken in 1946 (CPE/Scot/UK191, 2367-2369, flown 10 October 1946), in an area now occupied by a recent housing estate at Baile na Cille.
At least 34 huts can be seen on the photographs, some of which are of the Nissen type. The camp is linked to the public road by a made track and is almost certainly linked to accommodation provided for personnel serving at Benbecula Airfield. (NF75NE 4.00).
