(Area : NF 676 030) A similar site to Tigh Talamhanta (NF60SE 2 - Aisled farmhouse, etc. - IA), '... not recorded by the Commission, stands half a mile to the north and on the same stream.'

At NF 6760 0292 is a small depopulated area consisting of the remains of two rectangular buildings and two shielings within a turf and stone wall. The buildings measure 10.0m by 5.5m and 4.2m by 2.6m, with walls c. 1.1m wide and c. 0.4m high. The boat-shaped shileings measure 3.0m by 2.m and 4.0m by 2.5m.
This is almost certainly the site referred to by Scott: nothing to suggest 'Tigh Talamhanta' was seen here or in the area.
