At NC 8950 4523 and NC 8946 4532 are two enclosures of dissimilar appearance (A and B respectively). The former, situated on a river terrace in what is now damp ground, is blanketed with peat, and measures 14.5m in diameter within a turf wall spread to 2.0m - 2.5m and 0.2m high, with no stone exposed. This bank has a groove running around the top. There is no evidence of an entrance to be seen. Contiguous to the outer edge of the bank, and around the whole periphery, is a silted depression 3.5m - 4.5m wide and 0.1m deep. It may have been dug for drainage or to provide a slightly elevated stance (or a combination of both functions). This enclosure is almost identical to another 320.0m to the east. (See NC84NE 4), and the wall groove occurs elsewhere in NE Sutherland (See NC74SW 6 and NC74SW 8 NC74SE 1 and NC74SE 2 ).
'B' slightly set into a rise, is more typical of a Sutherland hut circle; it measures 11.0m in diameter within a heather-covered wall spread to 2.0m. The entrance is in the SE arc, where there is much bare stone indicating disturbance or later usage. The only signs of associated cultivation are one or two clearance heaps and relatively stone-free ground in the vicinity of hut 'B'.
