Possibly on map sheet HZ26NW.

(Location not specified). What was probably the communal grave of fifty Spaniards who died of hunger after the sinking (1588) of the Gen Grifon Armada wreck (HZ27SW 8001) was exposed [and presumably destroyed] by marine erosion at the start of the 20th century. Bones, buckles and coins were apparently found at a spot known locally as 'the Spainnarts' Graves'.

C Martin 1975.
