Archaeology Notes

HY22SE 58.06 25820 22883 and 25704 22890

The officers mess was situated in the 'Y' of the track leading to Qunni (HY22SE 58.07). Only two small structures and some hut bases survive in this area. The squash Court is locatted further down the slope (HY25820 22883) and was in use on the date of visit as an animal shelter.

The squash court was used by pilots only to keep up their fitness.
