A small group of hut bases has been identified from a vertical air photograph (OS/64/221, 033, flown 25 September 1964), about 200m NE of Uphouse farmsteading. At least nine hut bases are visible on the photograph.
Also visible on the air photograph at HU 50490 41534 are the remains of a hut and at HU 50466 41493 a Nissen hut.
Both the these huts are depcietd on the current OS 1:2500 digital map.
The small camp is almost certainly associated with the gun battery to the N.
