Archaeology Notes

HU24NW 29 c. 232 463

An oval implement of porphyry, found on the island of Vaila (centred HU 232 463) in 1820, is in the British Museum, bequeathed by the late Sir W C Trevelyan. It measures about 6 1/2 ins in length by 5 1/2 ins in breadth.
