Buildings at Risk Register BARR

Two storey L-plan row of stone-built with slated roofs buildings. Large corbelled bay window, topped with a weather vane, to western corner of block. Possibly an office block to the adjacent distillery.

Desk Based Assessment (18 January 2021)

The distillery was recorded on Michie’s 1848 map and grew significantly through the remainder of the nineteenth and the twentieth centuries. In January 2021, the distillery was in the process of being demolished.
