Location Notes: The carvings are on an area of exposed outcropping bedrock situated in rough grazing on the south-facing slope of the hillside looking out towards the lowlands of Menteith and the Campsie fells beyond. The panel is roughly 50m E of the abandoned township of Over Glenny, 10m N of the farm track, and 20m S of a stone wall and fence that delimit the edge of the mature coniferous forest. It forms part of the same outcrop as Over Glenny 1 which is located 1.5m to the S, and is situated within 50m of several other carved rocks. The second part of the previous Canmore record (2014) refers to Over Glenny 1.
Panel Notes: The panel comprises a roughly rectangular exposed bedrock outcrop, running NE-SW, segmented by four turf-filled cracks. There are carvings at the NE and SW ends of the outcrop: at the NE end is a roughly pecked cup with 2 rings, and at the SW end is a cup with 2 penannulars and a cup with a partial ring. All the motifs are eroded.
