Archaeology Notes

NJ82NW 5 c. 802 256.

A perforated stone mace head (2) 8 1/2" long and 5 1/2" maximum breadth found in one of the ditches of the fort (NJ82NW 4 ) on the Hill of Barra, was exhibited at the Arch. Institute in 1851 by the Rev S W King.

Arch J 1851.

The present whereabouts of this macehead is unknown.
