Two cross-incised stones lying loose in cemetery.
Print captioned: 'Stone Crosses in Inverurie Churchyard. The smaller one is 10 1/2 inches long, 9 1/2 in. broad and 3 1/2 ins. deep. The cross is sunk to a depth of about 3/8 inch both on front and back of stone but at the edges the depth is about 3/4 inch. The larger Cross is 12 inches long and broad with a triangular portion below, 6 inches broad and 4 1/2 in. deep. The stone is 5 inches thick. The cross is sunk to a depth of nearly 1/2 inch in front and back of the stone except at the edge where it is 1 inch deep. The triangular portion for insertion into the ground has been broken off the smaller stone.'
