Print captioned: 'Stone Crosses in Inverurie Churchyard. The smaller one is 10 1/2 inches long, 9 1/2 in. broad and 3 1/2 ins. deep. The cross is sunk to a depth of about 3/8 inch both on front and back of stone but at the edges the depth is about 3/4 inch. The larger Cross is 12 inches long and broad with a triangular portion below, 6 inches broad and 4 1/2 in. deep. The stone is 5 inches thick. The cross is sunk to a depth of nearly 1/2 inch in front and back of the stone except at the edge where it is 1 inch deep. The triangular portion for insertion into the ground has been broken off the smaller stone.' Print of same image as negative A8625, from which scanned image has been generated. 1909 Item Level
