Nothing is visible of this farmsteading, which stood between Provost Rust Drive to the N and Marchburn Drive to the S, in an area that is now a housing development. As depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Aberdeenshire, 1869, sheet lxxv) the farmsteading comprised an extensive collection of buildings, which included a mill fed from a pond lying immediately to the SW. The 2nd edition of the map (1902, sheet lxxv.NW) shows few changes to the overall layout of the steading.

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS), 19 April 2002.
